Dictation Helper does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, email address, or location information.
The app uses the camera permission (android.permission.CAMERA) so that users can take photos of textbooks, worksheets, printed materials, or other learning materials and create dictation exercises from them. Photos are used only to recognize selected text areas and generate dictation practice content.
Photos taken or selected in the app are used for optical character recognition (OCR). The app uses Google ML Kit on-device text recognition, and text recognition is processed on the user’s device. The app does not upload photos or recognized text to the developer’s server.
If the user chooses to save dictation exercises, the recognized or edited sentences may be stored locally on the device. This data is used only to provide the app’s dictation learning features and is not transmitted to an external server.
The app does not sell, share, or disclose users’ photos, OCR results, or saved dictation exercises to third parties.
The app’s core features are designed to work on the user’s device. The app does not upload photos, recognized text, or dictation exercises to the developer’s server.
Dictation Helper is a learning support tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians should ensure that learning materials photographed in the app do not contain personal or sensitive information.
Saved dictation exercises can be deleted by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app from the device.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. If changes are made, the effective date at the top of this policy will be updated.
